Canadian Charity
This intention is of most importance to all EU candidates
We are glad to present you our new project.
This is a job prospect for EU candidates only.
Requirements and benefits:
Monthly gross salary: USD 1800-3600 per month
Age limit: 18-80 y.o.
Possible profession growth and promotion opportunity
Internet access, cellular or home phone number and the e-mail
Part-time (2-3hr per day) and full-time employment (8hr per day)
Our organization Canadian Charity is looking for new candidates and collaborators in Europa.
Become a part of our donating system that includes global donations to HIV positives, war refugees from Middle East and starving children from poorest European countries.
Our program does not charge or ask you to invest anything. We do not try to take your capital. Our regional sponsors and investors from different European Union and North American regions have already accepted our deal and are now the investing affiliates in our multi-national donating program.
Collaborate with our investors during the donation process and get from 1500 EUR (1800 USD) up to 3000 EUR (3600 USD) income per month. Together we can make this program work with highest efficiency and thus have an occasion to ease the sufferings and decrease the needs of thousands of people.
This position you can request is the "Donating Assistant" (future promotion to "donating manager" is possible after 3 months of successful assistance).
Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a part of our system and EMAIL US. We will then send you more details concerning the position of a "donating assistant".
Thank you very much for your time and for your wish to help the ones who really need our help and joint support.
I think I've seen some of these before from somewhere else. It's the HIV, war refugees and poorest European countries.
[I searched and I was right. See the International Donation Association.]
DON'T FALL FOR IT.
Interestingly, they may be breaking EU law by putting an age limit on the job.

Dear James Miller.
I'd just found your message, and here's my reply.
I seached for "Canadian Charity", just for fun to see if something would show up.
Found a link to a Scientology site.
That's probably their new way of brainwashing people.
Have a nice day
Kristian.
That's probably just a coincidence, as I've never heard of them being involved in fraud.
Here's MY reply to the non-existent Canadian Charity's spam email:
Hello Mr. Sheffrin,
We have a few questions before we send our Application to you.
1. You state you are a "big worldwide donation centre with offices
in USA, Europe (Central and Eastern) and Latin America." You
state you "have state divisions and more than 100 worldwide
offices."
Please send the address of your office in London, United Kingdom.
2. You state you are "one of the oldest and largest voluntary
health agencies . . . headquartered in Dartmouth, Canada."
We checked with the regulatory authorities in Canada and
asked about Canadian Charity. They say there is no record
of this charity headquartered in Dartmouth or anywhere else
in Canada.
Please explain why we cannot find Canadian Charity in Canada.
3. We find no web site. All major charities in Canada have web sites.
The only thing we find about Canadian Charity on internet is:
Making the Most of the Internet: Canadian Charity Canadian Charity. Here comes another scam. This time supposedly from
Canada. ... Our organization Canadian Charity is looking for new candidates and ...

Please explain.
Surely, if you are a bonified and legally registered charity in Canada,
there will be full transparency to any public citizen who wishes to
know everything about the charity, yet we can find no information
about you anywhere in Canada's official record of charities.
From which independent third party sources may we obtain
information about Canadian Charity ?
When we receive the requested information and can verify it,
we will then be delighted to proceed with the application.
Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
Dear Anonymous
It's always sad to hear of some trusting soul being taken in by one of these scams. I'm afraid if you gave them your bank details - even if only for paying in purposes, there's all sorts of malicious stuff they can do - selling your details to third parties, etc. I suggest you contact your bank asap, explain the situation, close the account and open a new one. Also report it to the police, maybe they can monitor your old account and catch these people red handed.
Also to other people who actually responded sarcastically to the spam.. I'm afraid that's a bad idea, since your confirming your email address is genuine. Spams are generally sent using random character generation. Most don't reach anyone, but odds are that some get thorugh. As long as you don't respond or click on any links they have nothing on you.
Best advice: NEVER give details in reply to any UNSOLICITED emails and NEVER click on links in any emails you recieve from unknown parties. In fact get a good spam detector to stop that sort of stuff from reaching you in the first place.
Best of luck
Tom
