2. If the e-mail mentions a well known e-mail address such as from gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com etc., then why not forward the offending e-mail to abuse@gmail.com, abuse@live.com etc. Hopefully, they'll remove the e-mail address, which will stop people being sucked in.

Don't get the email address banned!

by searching for furcomfort@googlemail.com I found this post and discoverd the scam. Ban the email address and you lose the connection as the scammer will just open another account.

I disagree.

There are so many suckers out there, that they must be protected first, rather than catch the bastard. No-one is interested in catching them anyway.

Go to the Police about them and they'll say what crime has been committed in this country and you'll say it illegal to send spam e-mails like that. So they'll ask for the name address and telephone number of the spammer.

If everybody made life difficult for these idiots, by closing e-mails, e-mailing them as if we're suckers and stringing them along, at least it would waste their time.

And there are a lot more good people out here than crooks, so we should fight.
