2. If the e-mail mentions a well known e-mail address such as from gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com etc., then why not forward the offending e-mail to abuse@gmail.com, abuse@live.com etc. Hopefully, they'll remove the e-mail address, which will stop people being sucked in.

Guess I won't respond.
How do *I* know it's a fraud? EASY...
1) A legitimate job offer from a legitimate business would not use web email like @gmail.com or @yahoo.com. They'd use their corporate email address.
2) $3,000 for 10-12 hours of work weekly is too good to be true. "If it sounds too good, it probably is."
3) I don't have a resume posted anywhere (yet), so how did they review my resume to respond to it?
4) I have 4 different email addresses. If I did have my resume posted, I would NOT be using the email address where I received this offer. I RARELY use this email address. They did not get this address by legitimate means.
THAT'S HOW I KNOW IT'S A FRAUD.
