2. If the e-mail mentions a well known e-mail address such as from gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com etc., then why not forward the offending e-mail to abuse@gmail.com, abuse@live.com etc. Hopefully, they'll remove the e-mail address, which will stop people being sucked in.

Im so glad i saw this!! I just got that same email last night. I thought it was odd... Thanks!
I got the exact email also and found it odd. I check them out and found they had a very sophisticated website http://www.ciec-trade.com/ which made them all that more convincing. I didn't go further, but if I was really interested, I would check with the Federal Trade Commission to see what records they have on them.
