This came with an impressive attachment, which looked like it was created from a genuine Word document from the Nigerian Senate. So is the Nigerian Senate or some of its employees at the heart of these frauds.

If you want to look at the document click here.

They're still fraud.

Two out of five.

How exactly do you justify that it looks "like it was created from a genuine Word document?" Where is any evidence, any substance to support you statement? Does it not seem more likely that people using 419 scams would exactly want to use the senate president's name in their scams? Do you really think he is stupid enough to actually involve himself in 419?

And the senate president, whatever else he may claim to be, has never called himself "Dr."

Perhaps consider yourself fortunate the Senate has other things to do than chase small fry making unfounded defamatory statements...and post something that really does make use of the internet next time!

Thank you anonymous. Obviously, you don't want to give your real name.

I said looks like, because to an untrained eye it would look like it had come from the Nigerian Senate with the impressive crest.

People use all sorts of names in these scams and give Nigeria a bad name and the President of the Senate would not be stupid enough to involve himself in these scams.

If the Senate has better things to do, I hope they are pursuing these crooks who are defaming the good name of Nigeria and making it very difficult for Africans to pursue legitimate businesses all over Europe and the US.

I have a large collection of these type of scams and would be happy to send them to the appropriate authorities.
