Barrister L. Michael

 

Fraud. Note he describes himself as Barr. L. Michael (Esq). My late wief was a barrister and I know scores. Not one would call themselves Barrister and Esquire. Any message from someone who describes themselves thus is FRAUD or SPAM at least.

My name is Barr. L.Michael, We are solicitors to the great Atlanta Physician and Philanthropists Mr.George Brumley.

I wish to notify you that he made you one of the beneficiaries of his estate.
He left the sum of Five Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars to you.

He must have been in contact with you in the past or you were nominated to him in his vision to expand his Charity work, and he instructed that you are to use part of the funds to promote his legacy through activities that aim to help the old, poor, needy and disabled in the society. Important Notes :-

1. Whatever you do, do not respond to any e-mail like this. If you have given bank details to any fraudster like this, then inform your bank immediately and also make sure that you close the account.

2. If the e-mail mentions a well known e-mail address such as from gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com etc., then why not forward the offending e-mail to abuse@gmail.com, abuse@live.com etc. Hopefully, they'll remove the e-mail address, which will stop people being sucked in.
