A Nasty Fraud
If anyone gets a short (1 or 2 ring) call from this number 07061-784335, watch out - Do not call back. I got caught yesterday. All goes silent and a 4 second call cost me £2.00. I would love to get my hands on these scumbags.
My son also got a call that may be part of the same fraud.
Report them to Ofcom.

and ANOTHER 07061 741067!!!!but I dialled back from a land line where a very polite machine advised me that it was NOT a mobile number and calls would be charged at 50p per minute - I hung up!!
I got a missed call from 07061 784 024. I miss read the 0 after the 07
as being an 8 so I rang to see which builder, plumber etc it was. I
was held in a Q and after 30secs I guessed this can't be right. My
balance has dropped to £3 only having topped up a week ago. Grrr!!

07061 703257 - didn't ring back - looked like just another phone number at first, but thankfully t-mobile warned me it was an extra charge so I hung up.

Also 07061 784000, I was expecting a delivery so rang it back and got told by the machine it wasn't a mobile number. Thought it was still the delivery co so waited and it just asked to 'leave a message after the beep, *beep*' so I hung up. Hope I haven't got stung but I don't know :-(

Phoned it back from my landline - thankfully I am subscribed to 18185 and it informed me that it was NOT a normal number and did not connect the call :)
I now realise that I have had the missed call before but both times 18185 has saved me!

Also 07061758663...They called me a couple of months ago, same as most people below I didn't read the number properly & thought it was 078.. - the first time there was no answer then I tried again the next day and got a 'lady' who said they were calling to see if I was happy with my mobile provider, when I said yes she just thanked me and said goodbye. The unanswered call cost me about 70p, and the one where I spoke to someone cost over £2. Swines! They've just called me again today - only one ring them hung up - rest assured I won't be returning the call, and T-mobile said they can't do anything about it - it seems to be down to us, I for one will never be calling an 070- number back ever again!

I got this number this morning after adding twenty pounds credit to my phone. Luckily i had made a couple of calls to bring my credit below the 20 pound mark. When i tried to calls this number back, it said i do not have enough credit to connect the call?? I seem to have been charged £2.00 for this message? Its about time the government stepped in and stopped companies like BT from making profit from this type of scam.
Sadly, i will no longer answering calls from anyone on 070 numbers again or anyone who does 1 ring and stops. 3 so far today.

Got called by them, stupidly anf ignorantly called back, got nothing, 18 seconds on the phone, thought that was very strange seeing as I swear it was no more than 2 seconds... my phone provider cannot tell me how much I have wasted on these ****s, nor can I report it to the provider.

I seem to remember someone trying to report these numbers to Ofcom and they can't do anything due it not being their responsibilty.
