2. If the e-mail mentions a well known e-mail address such as from gmail.com, live.com, yahoo.com etc., then why not forward the offending e-mail to abuse@gmail.com, abuse@live.com etc. Hopefully, they'll remove the e-mail address, which will stop people being sucked in.

I too rec'd this BUT it was posted on a Job Network site through a local church (so I thought it was legit). I responded now I'm getting constant emails and actually got something in the mail today! I haven't even opened it but it came from UPS and I don't know if you can "return to sender" or not.
Ignore it all and go to the Police if you can. The more we pester the Police with things like this, the more the Authorities will do something about it.
